I thank GOD for a family oriented weight loss center. This journey has been well needed in my life. I was scared when i went in for the procedure but Doctor Simmons and staff made me feel comfortable and was with me every step of the way. Doctor Simmons and his team made sure i was good even after the procedure. They answered every question i had they checked up on me constantly they are cost efficient. The results are amazing from the procedure i had i feel great. I can honestly do things i couldn’t do anymore cause of my weight gain. I rate Doctor Simmons and his team a 1000% out of 100 cause their great at what they do.
Dr Simmons is amazing. He was thorough in obtaining my medical history and took the time to listen to my health concerns. He developed a plan of care for me towards my goal of optimal health and an optimal weight. In 4 months I have lost 22 pounds. My energy level has increased. My back pain has decreased and is manageable my arthritis knee pain has decreased and I have had a decrease in my hip pain which 6 months ago I was looking at total hip replacement. With the decrease in pain due to a decrease in my weight I am able to workout regularly without living in pain constantly The quality of life has significantly improved overall. I feel sooo much better physically and emotionally. Thank you so much Dr. Simmons for everything! You have truly made a positive impact on my life!
Dr. Simmons and his team have been amazing. They are welcoming, professional and good energy. I’m a mom of 2 who has been struggling with weight loss postpartum, who wanted to feel like herself again and Dr. Simmons gave me that. I am almost 2 months post ESG and I’m feeling better then ever and getting great results. Dr. Simmons is a great gastroenterologist, with an holistic approach that give you the confidence you are in the right hands and that he cares about you as patient. He handled my endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures in a time manner, helping me to clarify all my doubts. Office is really convenient located in AVENTURA, with good access.

I wanted weight loss help from a real doctor/specialist and not one of the pop up Miami clinics because I’ve struggled for decades with my weight. Dr. Simmons is the best! He was my doctor in New York City and I made sure to keep him as my weight loss doctor when he started in Miami. Takes his time and explains every step of the process for the procedure very well. Finally a doctor where I have had good long-term weight loss results.
I must admit, I was a bit nervous to start my gastric sleeve procedure, but from start to finish Dr. Simmons made the process smooth and comfortable. I was up and back to business after a couple of days, and adjusting well. Thankful for no scarring(my main concern), my weight loss journey has been nothing short of amazing. Simply can’t say enough good things about Dr. Okeefe Simmons and Tiffany at Advanced Weight Loss Solutions. I had gone to a very dark place over the last year or so and packed on an extra 55 pounds from overeating and drinking too much. At age 61 that doesn’t work as I felt exhausted and had swollen ankles, various aches and pains and also after examining my bloodwork it was determined I was pre-diabetic. Staring down the prospect of losing 55-60 pounds just seemed like a task too large for me to tackle. However, This clinic is expert at helping people get healthier and live better lives and with their support I have taken off over 20 pounds and now have the confidence that 35 more will go after the next 6-7 months. Medicine is of course helping by getting rid of cravings and hunger pains and had made smart dieting possible. You get expert and caring in person and virtual support and this helps keep you on the right path.
